Land Manager – Cirencester – £35k Basic – upto £50k OTE + Car Allowance
 
This is a very exciting opportunity to join an award winning multi-branch Independent Estate Agency and Lettings brand working from their office in Cirencester. Person Requirements
Our Clients are looking for an experienced Land Manager with the drive and enthusiasm required to maintain and expand the profile of their existing and successful Land and New Homes department. The Candidate needs to be a polished, well presented and articulate individual who manages their time and resources effectively to deliver the best results. The ideal Candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role with an agency or developer and must be conversant with all aspects of residential development including a good working knowledge of the planning system. RICS qualification would be highly desirable.
 
Role Outline
The successful Candidate will run the Land Department and report directly in to the MD. The company act for many corporate clients, charities and companies as well as private individuals so the successful Candidate must be able to relate to a wide variety of parties in the valuation and marketing of plots, sites and buildings for conversion. The company work closely with planning consultants and other professionals in giving initial planning advice to landowners often leading to full applications. They also provide a full range of RICS valuations for funding, taxation and Charities Act purposes. The expanding and increasingly important New Homes department works for a full range of local, regional and national developers. They cover a geographical area including Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire as well as surrounding counties.
 
Role Responsibilities
– Complete day to day running of Land Department
– Creating and maintaining new Customer relationships
– Driving the business growth forward
 
Experience, qualifications and desirables
– An experienced Land Manager
– Minimum 5 years’ experience gained with an agency or developer
– RICS qualification highly desirable
– Conversant with all aspects of residential development
– A good working knowledge of the planning system
– Team player
– Driven and motivated
– Ability to win new business
– A natural deal closer
– Excellent presentation & communication skills
– Polished and well presented
– Full UK driving licence
